HOW NORB BEGAN...

What started as a journey to develop a white LED grow light for our Hortech and LiveWall® line of plant products led us to a discovery: light doesn’t just affect plant growth, it profoundly influences human wellness and performance.

As biologists, we saw an opportunity to create lighting designed around the biology of light, and Norb Lighting was born.

Our bodies are naturally synchronized to the sun’s changing spectrum. Morning light supports alertness and focus, midday light energizes us, and evening light helps us relax and prepare for sleep.

But most artificial light doesn’t mimic natural sunlight. This disconnect, coined “biological darkness”, can affect how we feel, focus, work, and sleep.
